Individual or Organisation?

Individual Accounts

Every new Vulcan account has an individual area that can be used for personal use.

It is restricted in that it does not enable you to invite collaborators, though you can still share your Charts by generating public sharing links.

Should you wish to collaborate with your teammates, share projects and spaces as well as benefit from increased security features such as role based access controls (RBAC) and better SLA's, then you can create an Organisation account.

Organisation Accounts

Right now, Organisation accounts are free, while in BETA.

An account can be a member of multiple Organisations, with each membership subject to the restrictions of the Organisation settings.

Each Organisation has access to a selection of Roles, by default.

Organisation Members can be grouped into Teams, which is useful for grouping content access policies and permissions.

Organisation owners and admins can create additional roles and apply custom permissions via policies.
